TCU/IAM remains steadfast in its commitment to securing a strong agreement for our members on the Long Island Railroad.
“We’ve been at the bargaining table for over a year, and our position is clear,” said TCU National Vice President Nick Peluso. “Our members expect—and deserve—an agreement that reflects the value of their work and brings their wages in line with those on other commuter railroads.”
Negotiations are currently in the mediation phase, as prescribed by the Railway Labor Act.
“Our members can be assured we will exhaust every effort to reach an agreement worthy of their support,” said TCU National Vice President Matt Hollis.
