Wednesday’s assault on our Democracy was truly a sad day in the history of the United States. Make no mistake: this was due to four years of lies by President Trump – lies to the people of the United States. This Union will not sit silent, because silence is complicity. This Union and I will continue to inform our members, truthfully and faithfully, on all issues of relevance, and we will continue to denounce all forms of violence used in the pursuit of political goals.
